I’m excited to announce that the Matetich Insurance Agency has been acquired by Krog Insurance Agency. I want to assure you that this change is a positive one, and this will result in even better service and potentially more comprehensive insurance solutions for you.
As you all know and understand, the last few years have been quite challenging for our family with the passing of my father, John Matetich, Sr., and other medical challenges our family has experienced. It is time to join forces so that we can make sure our valued clients have everything they need going forward.
It is both the Krog Agency and my hope and plan that, in due time, I will be able to come back stronger than ever, work at Krog directly supported with a new team of Agents and Service staff and take the Matetich Agency to new heights! In the meantime, please know you are in excellent hands with a team that has demonstrated long-term success. I can attest from firsthand experience that this agency will deliver the level of care you deserve with a deep level of integrity.

- Continuity of Service: Your current policies and coverage remain in effect without interruption.
- Expanded Offerings: You’ll now have access to a wider range of insurance products and services through Krog.
- Dedicated Team: The Krog Agency is fully staffed and there to assist you whenever you need it.
- Hibbing Hours: As we sort out my health, the Krog Agency will support the Hibbing office on Wednesdays through the holidays and from there we will be going to “by appointment only” in the Hibbing office.
- Consistent Communication: The Krog Agency team is available for regular hours in their Virginia and St. Paul, MN offices and are always available by phone at 218-749-4225 (or as always on the Matetich phone line at 218-263-7505). We’re committed to making this transition as seamless as possible. In the coming weeks, you may notice some changes in our communications and branding, but rest assured that our dedication to your insurance needs remains our top priority.
