Jess is a Senior Account Executive and key operational leader at Krog Insurance Agency, serving as a trusted resource for clients and team members across both of our office locations. A lifelong Iron Range resident, Jess grew up in the area and attended Mesabi Range College before earning her degree in Early Childhood Education from Southwest Minnesota State University.
In 2021, Jess transitioned into the insurance industry, joining Krog Insurance as a Customer Service Representative and quickly advancing into senior leadership. Her passion for helping people, natural leadership, and deep commitment to community care were recognized in 2026 when she was named the Mesabi Tribune’s Insurance Agent of the Year.
Jess loves working at an independent agency because it allows her to tailor coverage to each client’s unique needs while helping them truly understand their protection. As a senior leader, she takes pride in mentoring team members across both offices, ensuring our agency maintains its high standard of personal, responsive service.
Outside of work, Jess lives in Virginia with her son and their cat. An active member of the Iron Range community and the Laurentian Chamber, she enjoys hiking, crafting, fishing, camping, and traveling in her free time.
