Jon grew up in Northern Minnesota and attended Bemidji State University, graduating in 2004 with a BS in Business Management. After college, Jon worked for a captive insurance carrier and gained valuable experience, but he soon realized that representing only one company did not enable him to provide his clients with the best service. In 2006, Jon joined his father at his newly reopened independent agency in Virginia, MN, where they worked together to grow a business focused on clients’ needs and strong relationships with the companies they represent.
In 2012, Jon opened the agency’s second office in St. Paul, MN, bringing the same client-centered focus and relationship-driven approach to the Twin Cities.
Jon and his wife, Olivia, live in St. Paul with their English bulldog, Walter, and two French bulldogs, Ant and Peppa. In their free time, they enjoy traveling, volunteering with Coco’s Heart Dog Rescue, and training for triathlons.
