Jon grew up in Northern Minnesota, attended Bemidji State University graduating in 2004 with a BS in Business Management. After college, Jon worked for a captive insurance carrier and gained valuable experience, but soon realized that representing only one company did not give his clients the best service. In 2006 Jon joined his father in his newly reopened Independent Agency in Virginia, MN and worked together to grow a business focused on the client’s needs and a strong relationship with the companies they represent.
In 2012 Jon opened the agencies 2nd office in St Paul, MN bringing the same client-centered focus and a relationship-driven approach to the Twin Cities.
Jon is married to his wife Olivia, together they live in St Paul with their two Bulldogs, Walter & Newton. In their free time they enjoy traveling, running, & and the newest addition….. racing triathlons.
What I enjoy most about my job:
I like the challenge of taking a product which has become largely commoditized and advising clients on how to choose the proper coverage. That’s a fancy way of saying we want you to know what you’re buying and just as important what your not buying……
